To serve
God by evangelizing, nurturing and discipling our oikos and community.
A cell group is a face-to-face meeting with 5 to 12 people, where care and
mutual support takes place. Cell groups are formed depending on the need of
the people. Single men groups, women groups , family groups etc.
Why have Cell Groups?
To increase the quality and quantity of care at Miracle Family:
Unfortunately, the pastors cannot meet all of your personal needs! A Cell
Group is there to meet the personal needs both spiritual and physical.
However, the main purpose is to grow and multiply. All the evangelism is
done through this group.
Groups are formed depending on the necessity: Sometimes it's hard to develop
meaningful relationships in a large church. A Cell Group is the ideal place
to make new friends and grow. Spiritual parents are there to make sure the
new born are growing healthily.
To reach out to un churched people: Each group has an "empty chair" as a
reminder to pray for friends and neighbors who are their oikos. Coming into
someone's home is less intimidating than entering a large church environment
for non – Christians.
To identify and train future Cell Group leaders: Eventually the group will
grow and there will be the opportunity to begin another group and welcome
more people in. The best new leaders are those that have already experienced
a Cell Group from a non-leader perspective.
What does the Bible say about Cell Groups?
Devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the
breaking of bread and to prayer...all the believers were together and had
everything in common...and the Lord added to their number daily those who
were being saved." (Acts 2:42, 44, 47)
