Miracle Family Temple began on September 4, 1994 with a handful of believers.  Sunday morning services were held at the Ellesmere Statton Public School.  Every Sunday morning, we had to carry, fix and remove the equipments which were very inconvenient for us.  We prayed and God led us to look for a permanent space for us.  At the beginning we were thinking of leasing a space but eventually our eyes were focused on the Red Cross building which was put on sale.  In September 1997, we bought the Red Cross building at 1095 Bellamy Road North by purely trusting in God.  When we thought of purchasing a property we had only $1,000 in the building fund but God moved in the hearts of the Believers and Friends to raise enough money to purchase the building.  On the day of the closing we were short by $25,000.  Everyone was on our knees praying for God to do a miracle.  That morning we heard that PAOC Women’s Ministry will release $15,000 and the balance $10,000 was received as a loan and thus we were able to close the building on time.

The purchased property was an office building and had to be renovated.  The Believers worked as a team and dedicated their time and converted the office building into a beautiful worship place.  To help us with our monthly commitments, “Jesus First Assembly” a Filipino Congregation shared our facility until we moved to our new location.  God was faithful and there was not a moment that we struggled to pay our monthly commitments even though our expenses were doubled when we moved from the school to the new building.  God did many miracles to meet our financial needs.

As the years went by, one day in 1999, God spoke in the Senior Pastor’s heart about the Cell Ministry.  The Senior Pastor listened to the voice of God and the church was transformed into a cell based church in April 1999.  In the following years, the church started to grow and on May 15th 2001, God sent a man of God from India who was totally a stranger to us and prophesied that God would use us to open two branches to reach out to the lost.  The Senior Pastor along with the leaders kept hands on the road map and prayed for God to show us the right locations.

Through the help of the PAOC, on January 6th 2002 we started our West Worship Centre in Mississauga.  A few months later on April 21st 2002 we started our Downtown Worship Centre.  In August 2003, at a family camp meeting God spoke through an Evangelist that God is going to bless the Sinhalese congregation who was worshiping with us at that time.  On September 7, 2003 we started the first Sinhalese Worship Centre.  In the following years we were growing rapidly and it was difficult to bring the believers from all Worship Centres for a combined worship. One after the other the Evangelists who came to our church prophesied that God is going to give us a larger property.  We prayed as a church for God’s guidance and to direct us in the right path. The building opposite to our church was for sale and miraculously God gave us a huge building to worship.  It not only blessed our congregation but also many other communities to gather in the same location and worship our Creator. All glory and honour is to our God alone!  Let all Nations gather together to lift the name of Jesus!

Why are we GROWING?

1.  Very simply, if something is healthy, growth is a natural result.

2.  Our passion is to build the Kingdom of God in Canada, not our own little "church kingdom."  Our competition is the forces of evil, not the other churches in the area.  Each week our congregation prays for the harvest.  We joyfully sow into our community and we pray that we will reap a harvest of un-churched individuals.

3.  People are hungry for pure love and authentic relationships.  The most common response we receive from our first time guests is, "Everyone is so warm and friendly!  I can't believe it."  The first time you attend we treat you as our special guest, not a visitor.  The second time you attend we treat you as one of the family.

4.  We have a big vision.  When people hear it and see it they get excited and want to be a part of something that has significance.
